The bullet for the 35 Whelen
I have found that this bullet is far and away the best performing bullet in my 35 Whelen. It has proven to be very accurate and extremely effective on game. Loaded with RL15 with a wide charge weight range in my rife I can consistently produce groups near 1/2" at 100yards. I have shot countless white tail and black bear with this bullet and I have no need for anything else. To add I have corresponded with several fellow hunters in the Yukon and Alaska who use this very bullet in the 35 Whelen and 358 Norma Mag on bear, moose and caribou with great effectivness. Over the years I have puchased several boxes directly from Speer and from those who have been foolish enough to part with them online. It's not sexy or fancy by todays standard where bullets sport colorful plastic tips, secant ogives and all sorts of mathematical equations attached with the best market hype. But, it flat out works with the the most boring efficency one can find.
