Perfect medium range Antelope and Deer bullet
I would like to preface by saying, that you can spend more money on the latest plastic tipped bullets, but nothing in this caliber, weight, and configuration will kill more effectively than this 130 Speer BTSP. My recommendations may seem conservative, but every sportsman should take pride in a clean, one-shot kill. In my opinion, this bullet should only be used in open ground, open timber situations for carefully made broadside shots only. It is very accurate, flat shooting, and very destructive, much better suited to taking trophy Antelope and Deer out to 400 yards than in any other situation. If you are the kind of hunter that takes shots from any unobstructed angle, buy Grand Slams instead. I have seen, used, evaluated, written requirements and recommendations for, and directly participated in the development of bullets, propellants, optics, and weapons, with many of the major arms, optics and ammunition manufacturers in America for the United States Army Delta Force and Special Forces. I have been deployed many times in support of classified activities as well as being contracted to supervise the training of foreign counter-terrorist commandos, and snipers as well as numerous law enforcement snipers throughout the United States. 1SG(R) John Osborn SFQC 3-83 / OTC-18
